Charity Walk for ‘Hope’s Heart’

On July 6th and 7th, Ali, Catherine, and Sarah from Hope's Therapy Dogs are embarking on an incredible Peak District Ultra Challenge Walk (73 km & ~1500 m climb). But this isn't just any walk - it's a mission to raise funds for Hope's Heart, a charity close to our hearts.

Training Walk around Formby April 2024

Hope's Heart is a beacon of hope for children and young people who have faced trauma, abuse, or bereavement. Founded by Ali Colley in memory of her daughter, Hope, this charity uses animal-assisted therapy, art, and music to support children and young people.

Hope's story continues to inspire us every day. Despite her battle with a brain tumour, she faced each day with unwavering bravery, touching the lives of all who knew her. We're walking in her honour, knowing she would be thrilled to see us supporting children just like her.

While we're accustomed to taking our Therapy Dogs for daily walkies, 73km across two days is certainly no small feat, but we're definitely up for the challenge! We've already begun our training, pushing through the leg aches, foot pain and (many!) blisters, fueled by the knowledge that every penny donated CAN, and WILL, make a difference.

Your support truly means the world to us. Every donation, no matter the size, will continue to push us forward. Your donations will directly contribute to Hope's Heart, ensuring that essential resources and services reach those who need them most. Together, we can make a difference and spread hope and healing.

Please, sponsor us if you can. 💖
