We Are Winners! 🏆

We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we have won The Animal Award at the BBC Radio Merseyside Make A Difference Awards 2024! 🌟 It still feels surreal, and we are filled with joy and gratitude.

The awards ceremony was an unforgettable evening, spent alongside so many inspirational people. It was truly humbling to be in such great company, and we feel incredibly honoured to have shared this special night with them. 💖

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Radio Merseyside, not just for hosting a fantastic ceremony but for their ongoing support of our mission. Your encouragement means the world to us! 🎙️

What made our award even more special was that it was judged by Andre Portasio, the husband of the late Paul O'Grady. We couldn't have asked for a more warm, qualified, and considerate judge for our category. We are deeply grateful for his kind words and the time he spent with us after the awards. We look forward to keeping him updated on the progress of Hope's Therapy Dogs. 🐶✨

This award is a tribute to our incredible therapy dogs, who work their "magic" every day, and to all of our amazing schools, supporters, and, of course, the children we are privileged to work with. 🌈❤️ We truly believe that both Hope and Paul were with us in spirit, and we are committed to continuing to make them proud with the work our dogs do for children and young people across the North West. 🐕💜
